Expo.02

National Swiss Exhibition

Unlike its predecessors, Expo.02 – Switzerland's sixth National Exhibition – will not be confined to a single location, but will be conducted simultaneously in Biel, Murten, Neuenburg, and Yverdon-les Bains on exhibition platforms called "Arteplages" which are intended to trigger emotions and stimulate the imagination.

Openness and cultural coexistence

Expo.02 is being staged on three lakes in a picturesque, undulating landscape scattered with wine-growing villages. This Land of the Tree Lakes is regarded as a focus of encounter but also of cultural and economic exchange between Germany and French-speaking Switzerland, standing for the variety, openness and cultural coexistence.
